Pack 406 is in the Blackland Prairie District of the Capital Area Council. Through active parent involvement we aim to deliver a fun, relevant, service-oriented program. We recruit from Timmerman and Wieland Elementary Schools in the Pflugerville Independent School District.
Being a Cub Scout in Pack 406 is fun! We go on camping trips, build cars and boats then race them, explore the outdoors, learn neat skills and then put them to use! Scouts have fun and adventure with their friends while building character, learning to be a productive citizens, and responsible members of their family.
Boys today have so many choices on how to spend their time. The Cub Scout program in Pack 406 stays relevant to boys' interests offering them opportunities to explore, learn skills, take on leadership and responsibilities that they will find rewarding to keep them wanting to come back for more.
A Scout gives good will. At Pack 406 service is a key part of what we do. Service projects cover a wide array of activities throughout the program year. We keep our schools and parks clean, help local animal shelters with supplies they need, collect food for the needy during the national Scouting for Food drive, and volunteer our services for local community organizations.
