Adventure Boxes Get Cubs Advancing Has your pack/den ordered its Adventure Boxes? Each box is a curated collection of instructions and materials to help an individual Scout earn his or her next rank, conveniently shipped to you. There are two boxes for every Cub Scout rank: one to help a Scout earn the rank for their grade level and another to earn elective Adventures. Cub Family Outdoor Discovery Sessions Looking for a safe way to get back outdoors with your Cubs? Bring your family or den (up to ten total people per group, ten groups per session) out for a fun session exploring Camp Tom Wooten each weekend this month! Enjoy Program Ranger nature talks, "family/Den guided" nature hikes with an EyeSpy activity, Cub Scout Orienteering game, and Fort Houston Scavenger Hunt. Bring your own gear for fishing and family games. There are 6-7 sessions per weekend at just $6 per person. Jamboree on the Air/Jamboree on the Internet (JOTA/JOTI) Jamboree on the Air/Jamboree on the Internet (JOTA/JOTI) is happening October 16-18! This is an incredible opportunity for Scouts of all ages to interact with fellow Scouts from around the world using amateur radio and the internet. Pumpkinpalooza (formerly Spook-o-Ree) Join us at Smilin V Scout Ranch on October 24 for some fun fall-themed activities including pumpkin painting and a not-so-scary haunted trail! Events will run from 1:00pm-5:00pm.  There will be no overnight camping or evening activities this year due to Covid-19. This year's event will be limited to 100 participants. Spread The Word: Virtual STEM Scouts  NEW for Fall 2020: Virtual STEM Scouts! We're offering hands-on STEM exploration for youth in Third through Eighth Grades. Hour Of Code Event In November Our Hour of Code event is back in 2020 as a virtual event. On November 14, from 10am-Noon, your Scout will learn coding basics from mentors at Dell, Google, Intel, IBM, Atlassian, and more. Then they'll have a chance to create their own game!
