Should you have an open Saturday, Home Depot and Lowe's offer craft workshops in the morning where the kiddos can go in and help build small projects with their parents.

Some of these workshops can satisfy some of the Craftsman requirements.  Lowe's is every Saturday while Home Depot is the first Saturday of every month.
